Alanna joined the team at Trade Winds Dental in 2008. She is the office administrator, front desk goddess, and your patient care specialist. Alanna enjoys meeting, greeting and working with the awesome patients at Trade Winds Dental. She also loves the incredibly supportive and encouraging team here at the office. Alanna came to love the dental field through a major reconstruction of her own jaws and teeth. The result was truly life changing. She learned firsthand what a huge impact a person's smile can have on his/her overall self-image and confidence. Because of this experience, "I am very happy to have the opportunity to be a part of helping patients experience the difference high quality dentistry can make in their lives." Alanna currently lives in Jarrell, Texas with her two sons, twin daughters, and her mother who delivers blessings to the family every day. Alanna recently married an incredible man, a father of five himself, in the Spring of 2014. Alanna enjoys being involved with her church, gardening, spending time with their many animals - horses, dogs, cats, and rabbits, and laying poolside with a good book. She also constructed and renovated her home. "I love to wander through an old hardware store or antique store - it helps me breathe deeper!"
Angela loves being a part of someone else's smile! An overwhelming desire to help care for others led Angela to the dental field where she realized she could make a difference. Fueled with that desire, in 2009 Angela graduated as valedictorian from Everest Institute at Austin, TX for dental assisting. That same year, Angela joined the Trade Winds Dental team and also took on the role as our OSHA compliance officer. Angela continues to make continuing education in dentistry a priority, always looking for ways to improve what she can do for her patients. Angela has lived in the Central Texas area all of her life, currently living in Georgetown. She is a proud mother to one son and three daughters. When she's not helping Dr. Hennington and other dental professionals create incredible smiles, Angela can be found staying fit and spending quality time with her family traveling to different zoos and nature parks.
Pattie was born to be a dental hygienist. When she was a teenager, she was fortunate enough to babysit a dentist's daughters. He invited her to come work in his office. While there, she was cross-trained at the front desk and as an assistant. Then, when it was time to attend college, it was a natural transition to dental hygiene. Pattie graduated Magna Cum Laude from Tyler Junior College in 1980 and has not slowed down since. Pattie's faith and family are centering, driving forces in her life. Although, Pattie’s roots are in Tyler, Texas, she has lived in the Dallas area, as well as, outside of Frankfurt, West Germany. She and her family have been in the Austin area since 1995. Pattie has been happily married to her high school sweetheart since 1979. She’s had the honor and privilege of raising two, now-grown, "children"....a son and a daughter. And now, she has the crowning addition of a precious granddaughter. Trade Winds Dental was honored to have such an experienced dental hygienist and caring individual such as Pattie join the team December 2013.
Xenia has lived in, and around, the Austin area since 1974. She graduated from Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre, a study which has played a large role in every aspect of her life and professional occupations. In 1993 she met her then-future husband in a local coffee shop on the Square. Her gratifying career in dentistry began five years later as she searched for ways to give back to the community. Xenia loves serving the Georgetown and Austin communities and celebrates the impact great dentistry has on changing people's lives for the better. Xenia's continued concern for the overall well-being of others led her to become a Professional Teacher Trainer of Kundalini Yoga as Taught by Yogi Bhajan ®. She is an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT 200, RYT 500) through Yoga Alliance. Not only does she work behind the scenes for Trade Winds Dental in management, human resources, payroll, marketing, bookkeeping, and special projects, but she also teaches public Kundalini yoga classes in Austin at Yoga Yoga and helps Kundalini yoga students evolve into teachers themselves in teacher training programs across the nation.
